Animal Medicines is the trading name of Farmpharm, a pharmacy registered with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (pharmacy number: 1093187), Pharmacy Superintendent: Robert McLaren. Farmpharm is a company composed of veterinary surgeons and pharmacists.

Our focus is on providing you the consumer with the best available pricing for prescription and non-prescription products enabling you to make big savings compared to purchasing from your vet.

Rationale:
The Competition Commission investigated the supply and sale of Prescription Only Medicines (POMs) in the U.K. One of the main findings the British Government accepted was the recommendation that:

Pharmacies, such as Animal Medicines, should be allowed to dispense prescription and non-prescription animal medicines.

That enabled Animal Medicines to dispense prescription medications. All medication is sourced from the same suppliers as your vet but we are able to offer more competitive pricing because of our bulk purchasing power and lower overheads. Beware of some other websites selling prescription and non-prescription animal medications imported from abroad, as this is both illegal and some of the medication may be illegal copies.
